Inside this hotel, there’s a rustic-chic restaurant and a bar/lounge that serves snacks breakfast, lunch, and dinner and offers lake and mountain views. The restaurant has an extensive a la carte service and specially selected daily menus. Being able to enjoy a superb meal at the foot of a lake splashed by huge, falling ice floes is a simply overwhelming experience. The hotel is surrounded by forests of lenga and coigue hardwood trees that serve as a refuge for the guemal, a species of deer which can even be seen from the hotel windows.
This is Packed Perfectly’s favorite lunch spot in Torres Del Paine. Drive across the mote to the tiny island in the middle of the bright blue Pehoe lake. The views are nothing short of stunning! The food is good, the atmosphere is wonderful. If you want wifi though, this is not the place for you as they like to be disconnected -and wifi is for hotel guests on the island.
I love this Simple Bites site! I hope it gives you great ideas if you are camping and bring your own food. Mind you the grocery stores will have what is in season so alter your plans if need be.
